Charity Day, August 2022.

On Sunday 28th August, Steve Hall Golf held a fun day at the Fox and Hounds pub in Thurston, with all proceeds donated to 2 local families:

Pub regular Debs Bull was diagnosed with a rare form of sarcoma cancer last January. Since the diagnosis, Debs’ husband Andy and their family have been through a really tough time.

Steve Hall Golf set up in the pub garden with challenges running through the afternoon and evening. There was a dedicated ‘kids hour’ in the afternoon too. Andy, Jake & Steph’s husband Paul all came along and had a go. It’s fair to say Jake was the player of the day!

The flow of people was constant with over 150 people taking part in the hourly challenges. From first timers to golf club members, everyone had fun. Lots of smiles and laughter and at the end of the day, a tear or two when the £1160 was handed over to the fantastic causes.
